Passions in life are sometimes momentary. I have had many “callings”, but none can compare to my intense love of photography. Enter Snapshots. Like many other people, I had a nice camera and thought “Hey, I can take good pictures...” After my first family session, I QUICKLY realized how much I had to learn. So I signed up for every workshop, class, and group I could find. I read more photography books than I even thought could exist. I practiced every day and I invested money in my equipment and photo editing. And then a bride called.......... I am a true romantic at heart. I am in love with love. I shot my first wedding and was hooked. I am passionate about wedding photography and still cry at every wedding. My clients trust me to capture one of the most important days of their life and that is never taken lightly. The relationships built with couples prior to the wedding translates into priceless images. I get to know them, their expectations, and visions for their wedding photographs. There is pure magic at weddings and I am honored to to be a part of the day. I still sign up for every workshop, class, and group, and I still read every book I can get my hands on. I am never completely satisfied with my work and I hope that never happens. Constant learning, networking and refining my skills offers you a dynamic photographer to capture YOUR Snapshot. Photographs of Rhonda are courtesy of Fall Meadow Photography and Design. I love capturing moments, people, places . . . The creative side of me enjoys every aspect of the process - from composing a shot to editing the image to designing how the photograph will be presented. Some days I can hardly believe it was only a couple years ago that Rhonda asked me to tag along to help her with her first photo shoot, and later her first wedding. I think I was really there for moral support more than anything, but we soon found such synergy in our styles and working relationship, that shooting second for her at weddings came rather naturally (and it's a blast!). Plus, the fact that I personally witness "the big day" helps me recapture the important wedding highlights and tell a couple's wedding story when I design their album.
